RNDP influence to set free of fanatic Rakhines in Arakan

Sittwe: At least 4 Rakhine culprits were forcibly released by the member of the Rakhine Nationalities Development Party (RNDP) on 29 March 2013 from Sittwe prison who were deeply involved in sectarian violence that took place in October last year in Arakan state, according to a reliable source.

These 4 culprits are U Hla Saw Aung and U Tun Kyaw from Kyat Zay ward in Mrauk U and Maung Tin Win and U San Thein Kyaw from Purin Gon village in Mrauk U Township.

Upon their release, many townspeople include their colleagues received them from the jetty of Mrauk U as heroes.

Indeed, there were 17 culprits who were arrested with red handed evidences of arms and ammunitions at the times of sectarian violence but their case were file under suspicion of Myanmar Penal Code.

Out of 17 culprits, 4 were set free in consideration of innocent, while 13 people in the township remain in the prison of Sittwe to face the trail with a verdict that passed by the judge of Sittwe District Court.

These culprits were arrested by the security forces in connection with an attack on Putin gon Rohingya village of Mrauk-U Township.

Following this information, Rakhine people are preparing another step to continue violence against the Rohingya and Kaman of the country. ##
