The Rohingya Concern International (RCI) actively participated in
the 27th Annual United American Muslim Day Parade held on September
23, 2012,Sunday (12.30 pm to 6 pm).The RCI was represented by its
president Mohiuddin M Yusof and EC member Sanowar Masum.

The Chairman of the Muslim Parade Day Committee Br.Ai-nul-Haq
gracefully provided a stall free of charge to the RCI to present the
case of Rohingya people who are the victims of Genocide and uncountable
inhuman atrocities at the hands of their own Govt.'s security forces
aided and collaborated with extrmist,ultra
-nationalist and racist group of Rakhine Buddhist people.
The RCI distributed leaflets,brochures and explained to the
participants about the current on-going update information of the
world's most persecuted Rohingya people of Burma.
In the events, the RCI president got the opportunity to meet many
Muslim leaders of New York and discussed with them about the Rohingya
crisis to draw their support and solidarity to the cause of Rohingyas.
The banners, photos, signs of RCI and the victims of Rohingya
Genocide were displayed to the attendees of the historic event in the
heart of New York City.
Since 1983 the Muslim American Day Parade has brought together
Muslim-Americans from the five boroughs and beyond NYC , celebrating the
rich, cultural traditions of a faith that has provided hope, support,
and comfort to generations of New Yorkers.
With colorful floats, a bazaar, and lectures by Muslims and
interfaith leaders, this widely anticipated event gives all New Yorkers
an opportunity to renew their commitment to New York's diverse
spiritual community and to commemorate the tremendous contributions of
Muslim New Yorkers.
